The First Amendment states that Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech (or something like that). Well, I'm not the Congress, and this is my site, so I'll make such laws as I want! I think you'll find that I'm a pretty benevolent dictator.
1. I'm a conservative, Christian American. If opinions commonly associated with those things bother you, then you might want to go elsewhere.
2. I'm not big into censorship. You can pretty much say whatever you want, but please keep the personal insults to a minimum. While typing "YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT!!!!!!" may be personally satisfying, it really doesn't contribute much to the debate. If this is the only thing you can come up with, then you've lost the argument and might as well go home to mommy.
3. I reserve the right to eliminate any particularly objectionable comments.
4. Finally, while I don't expect everybody to be an Oxford scholar, do try to use good English. I'm an old fuddy-duddy and prefer that traditional rules - such as capitalizing the first word of sentences or proper names - be followed.
